Terms of purchase
These general conditions of sale are intended to regulate the contractual relationships between Imhoff Srl (hereinafter also “Imhoff Srl” or "We"), as Seller, and the Customer, as Buyer, in relation to the sale of goods and/or services. These conditions apply unless the Parties have signed a specific agreement or a Contract (as defined below). The acceptance of the Order (as defined below) by the customer, or the actual payment or receipt of the goods and/or services, implies the full acceptance by the customer of these general conditions of sale.
Imhoff Srl is committed to ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
However, we understand that in some cases it may be necessary to request a return. We invite you to carefully read our return conditions, specific to the sector of handles and design accessories.
Returns are permitted only in the following cases:
- Defective or damaged product: the product has scratches, manufacturing defects, or was received in conditions that do not meet quality standards.
- Wrong Product: A different product than the one ordered was sent.
It is not possible to make a return for personal reasons, such as change of mind or error in choosing the model, color or size.
Customers can request a return within 14 days of the delivery date by sending a written communication to our Customer Service via email at: support@imhoffhandles.it.
In the return request, you must provide:
- Name and surname of the customer.
- Order number.
- A clear description of the problem you are encountering.
- Detailed photos demonstrating the defect or damage (e.g. visible scratches or defects on the handles).
Everything must be done in good contractual faith.
Once we receive your return request, our team will evaluate the evidence provided (photos and description of the problem).
If the return is approved, we will send the customer a return label for the product.
The product must be returned in its original packaging, complete with all accessories and in conditions that allow for verification, without which the refund will be cancelled.
Incorrect Products: In the event of an error on Our part, We will cover the shipping costs for the return or replacement of the product. If the error is not Our fault, returns or replacements will not be accepted.
Returns or exchanges will not be accepted if the product has been used or damaged by the customer.
In the event that the Customer makes the payment through platforms that provide for transaction fees (such as, by way of example but not limited to: PayPal, Klarna, credit cards, electronic circuits or other digital payment systems), the Seller reserves the right to withhold such fees from the amount to be refunded .
Therefore, in case of cancellation of the order or request for a refund, the amount returned will be net of the commissions applied by the payment manager , which are not refunded to the Seller.
The Customer hereby accepts this withholding, acknowledging that it is not an additional cost, but rather the compensation for a cost actually incurred for the management of the transaction.
At the time of purchase, the Customer declares that he has read and accepted the preparation, shipping and delivery times indicated on the Seller's website.
These times are to be considered binding for both parties.
Consequently, no request for early reimbursement motivated exclusively by the expectation of delivery within the expected timeframe is permitted .
Any requests for refunds will be evaluated only after the maximum times indicated on the site have expired , and in any case after checking the status of the order and shipment.
"Preparation, shipping and delivery times" means working days only, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
After receiving the product and verifying the nature of the defect, we will proceed with:
- Free product replacement (if available).
- Or, a full refund of the amount paid by the customer, excluding shipping costs.
The refund will be made as quickly as technically possible and, in any case, within a maximum of 14 days from the date on which the intention to exercise the right of withdrawal was communicated, provided that all the conditions indicated above are met.
We do not accept returns in the following cases and as per the article already agreed (see art. 2):
- Products purchased in final promotion or marked as "non-refundable".
- Products that have no verifiable defects or damage.
- If the returned product is not in the same condition in which it was delivered, or is not new and correctly packaged, the right to a refund will be deemed to have lapsed.
- Any warranty seals on the packaging must not be tampered with.
- It is permitted to handle the goods to the extent necessary to verify their nature, characteristics and functioning. Any use beyond this limit may result in the exclusion of any right of withdrawal (see art. 8 point 3).
All relationships with Imhoff Srl are considered concluded in Italy and are governed by Italian law.
For any dispute, whether civil or criminal, the territorial jurisdiction is exclusively that of the Court of Foggia (FG).
